Maximizing Your 2023 Chevrolet Bolt’s Range this Summer: Tips and Tricks

The 2023 Chevrolet Bolt is a shining star in the world of electric vehicles (EVs). With its impressive specifications, extended range, and customer-friendly price point, the Bolt continues to set the bar high in the ever-competitive EV market. With summer here, we’ll delve into how owners can maximize their Bolt’s range for those longer sun-soaked drives, and also shed light on the specs and range that make the Bolt an exceptional EV.

2023 Chevrolet Bolt: A Brief Overview

The 2023 Chevrolet Bolt is powered by a 65-kWh lithium-ion battery that provides an estimated range of up to 416 kilometres on a full charge. The front-mounted electric motor churns out a lively 200 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, making it a delightfully zippy vehicle to drive.

The Bolt comes standard with DC fast-charging capability, allowing the battery to regain approximately 160 kilometres of range in about 30 minutes at a public fast-charging station. Furthermore, using a 240-volt home charging unit can fully charge the Bolt in approximately 7 hours, making overnight charging convenient and practical.

Getting the Most Range Out of Your Bolt this Summer

Maximizing the range of your Bolt can be easy with a few simple strategies.

1. Precondition the Battery: Using the myChevrolet app, you can precondition your Bolt’s battery while it’s still plugged in, which helps it reach an optimal temperature before you start your journey. Preconditioning is particularly useful in extreme weather conditions as it can reduce the need for heating or cooling once the trip has started, conserving battery life.

2. Manage Your Speed: Like all vehicles, EVs are more energy-efficient at lower speeds. While the Bolt can easily handle highway speeds, sticking to lower speed limits when possible can help maximize your range. Also, remember to use cruise control for highway driving—it can help maintain a steady, efficient speed.

3. Use Regenerative Braking: The Bolt comes with a regenerative braking system known as “One Pedal Driving.” When engaged, it recaptures energy during deceleration and feeds it back into the battery. The more you use it, the more range you can get out of a single charge.

4. Mind Your Climate Control: Air conditioning can significantly impact the Bolt’s range. Try pre-cooling your car while it’s still charging. When driving, consider using the seat ventilation or opening the windows for cooling instead of the AC.

5. Maintain Your Tires: Ensure your tires are always inflated to the recommended pressure. Under-inflated tires create more rolling resistance, which makes the motor work harder and consumes more battery life. Regular tire maintenance is an easy way to enhance efficiency and safety.

The 2023 Chevrolet Bolt, with its impressive specs and remarkable range, makes for an outstanding EV choice. By preconditioning the battery, managing speed, taking advantage of regenerative braking, optimizing climate control usage, and maintaining tire pressure, owners can ensure they’re getting the most range out of their Bolt this summer, making for a truly electrifying driving experience.

A look at impressive towing technologies offered by GM

General Motors is known for a lot of things, but at the heart of the brand we find a long lineup of impressive pickups that deliver exceptional towing capability. GM trucks stand out in multiple ways, offering buyers a remarkable lineup of rugged, powerful full-size and heavy duty trucks that are always ready to get the job done. Part of what makes GM trucks so efficient with towing are the multiple technologies that assist before and during any towing operation. Here we take a look at some of the most impressive GM towing technologies offered on the lineup of new GMC and Chevrolet trucks including the GMC Sierra 1500 and the Chevrolet Silverado 1500.

ProGrade Trailering System

At the core of GM’s trailblazing towing technologies is the ProGrade Trailering System, available in select GMC and Chevrolet pickups. This suite of tools and technology assists drivers at every phase of the towing process – from hitching up the trailer to maneuvering it and even monitoring its status on the go. The system integrates a series of applications, software, and camera systems designed to enhance visibility, connectivity, and convenience when towing.

The ProGrade Trailering System includes features like Trailer Sway Control, Auto Grade Braking, and Diesel Exhaust Brake on certain models, helping to maintain control and stability even with heavy loads. The Hitch Guidance with Hitch View uses a rear camera view to assist in aligning your hitch, taking the guesswork out of the process.

Trailering App Integration

The modern driver demands digital solutions, and GM doesn’t disappoint. They have integrated their trailering technologies with an innovative smartphone app, GMC Trailering App (and Chevrolet Trailering App for the Chevy lineup). This app allows you to conduct a pre-trip towing checklist, test trailer lights, diagnose trailer electrical system issues, and even monitor tire pressure.

Moreover, the app offers a Learning Center that features a glossary of towing terms, tips, and how-to videos to support drivers new to the towing scene. This effective blend of tech and education empowers drivers to tow with greater confidence.

Advanced Camera Systems

Arguably, the jewel in GM’s towing technology crown is their Advanced Camera Systems. These provide up to 15 unique views, including a transparent trailer view, that significantly enhance drivers’ awareness and safety when towing. The transparent trailer view merges images captured from the tailgate and an accessory camera mounted on the rear of the trailer. This gives the illusion of “seeing through” the trailer, allowing drivers to monitor traffic conditions behind them more easily.

The additional camera views include side view cameras for monitoring blind spots, a rear top-down view for easier hitching, and an inside trailer view for keeping an eye on cargo. Such comprehensive visibility drastically reduces stress and enhances safety when towing and maneuvering large trailers.

Advanced Trailering Package

Rounding up GM’s robust towing technologies is the Advanced Trailering Package. This package includes an integrated trailer brake controller that allows drivers to adjust the amount of brake force applied to the trailer’s electric brakes when the vehicle’s brakes are applied. It also includes a Hitch Area Lighting system that illuminates the rear of the vehicle to assist with hitching or unhitching a trailer in low-light conditions.

In conclusion, GM has not just been building trucks; they’ve been building confidence into every aspect of towing. With the introduction of these towing technologies, they are redefining what it means to tow and haul. This blend of technology, digital connectivity, and user-centric design gives drivers an unprecedented level of control and convenience, making the towing experience safer and easier than ever before.

2023 GMC Acadia Named Among the Quietest SUVs on the Market

The 2023 GMC Acadia has earned accolades from Consumer Reports, landing on its list of the quietest SUVs on the North American market. This recognition affirms the vehicle’s superior design, which minimizes noise intrusion and enhances the overall driving experience.

Consumer Reports, one of the most respected independent consumer-focused organizations, evaluated the SUVs based on objective and subjective parameters. Each vehicle underwent a comprehensive evaluation, resulting in an overall rating on a 100-point scale. The 2023 GMC Acadia made its mark with an impressive score of 66.

SUVs are generally predisposed to higher cabin noise levels due to their design. Their taller structure and raised suspension can exacerbate wind, highway, and engine noise. However, the 2023 GMC Acadia has managed to defy these norms. The model’s design effectively mitigates the aerodynamic disruption, ensuring a serene cabin environment.

The 2023 GMC Acadia’s commendable quietness is not the model’s only standout feature. Consumer Reports also lauded its smooth ride and responsive handling, terming the crossover as “impressive.” Notably, the Denali trim, the range-topping variant, has been singled out for its superior quietness, which is attributable to additional sound insulation incorporated into its design.

Consumer Reports’ praise of the 2023 GMC Acadia is not an isolated accolade. Earlier in the year, the respected organization recommended the model, highlighting its strong points in braking, acceleration, comfort, and practicality.

A new 2024 GMC Acadia is on the way

While the 2023 GMC Acadia continues to gather positive reviews, expectations are high for the upcoming 2024 model. Slated for production in January 2024, the next-generation Acadia is poised to introduce the third generation of this successful nameplate. It is speculated that the 2024 model will be larger and might return to the full-size three-row crossover configuration of its first generation.

Spy shots of the 2024 GMC Acadia prototypes suggest a more upright, boxy style and a longer wheelbase. The interior, as seen in some shots, is expected to feature a GM Super Cruise strip along the steering wheel’s upper rim. With a reworked fascia, new lighting signatures, and more, the 2024 model is eagerly awaited.

In terms of powertrain, the 2024 Acadia is expected to retain its potent 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine, coupled with the GM 9-speed automatic transmission. The standard front-wheel-drive configuration may be upgraded to an all-wheel-drive option. An economical turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine might also be on offer, along with the possibility of an all-new powertrain.

With the 2023 GMC Acadia’s recognition as one of the quietest SUVs on the market, GMC continues to exemplify its commitment to delivering quality vehicles. As we look forward to the 2024 model, we anticipate further advancements in design, performance, and luxury. Stay tuned for more news and updates on the GMC Acadia and other GM models.

Three Reasons to Buy a 2023 Chevrolet Colorado Instead of a 2023 Nissan Frontier

The midsize pickup segment continues to sizzle with two standout models, the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado and the 2023 Nissan Frontier, vying for the spotlight. However, there are a few key areas where the Chevy Colorado takes the lead. Here are three reasons why the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado might be a better choice for your next truck purchase.

Superior Powertrain Options

One of the substantial advantages the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado has over the Nissan Frontier is its powertrain options. The Colorado has supplanted its prior engine lineup with a singular, turbocharged 2.7-liter I-4 engine. This new engine comes in three power tiers. Even at its base level, it nearly matches the performance of Frontier’s V-6, with 237 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque.

At its peak, the Colorado’s powertrain delivers an impressive 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque, outclassing Frontier’s top-tier 3.8-liter V-6, which generates 310 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque. This wider range of powertrain options, combined with superior performance, gives the Colorado an edge in terms of raw power. Moreover, with up to 430 pound-feet of torque, the Colorado delivers nearly 150 extra pound-feet of power compared to the Frontier, a significant advantage when it comes to towing, hauling or venturing off the beaten path.

Enhanced Towing and Payload Capacity

The Chevrolet Colorado has a higher towing capacity than the Nissan Frontier. The Colorado can tow between 6,000 and 7,700 pounds, depending on the model, while the Frontier’s V-6 models can only tow up to 6,720 pounds.

Moreover, the Colorado also offers a higher payload capacity. It can carry up to 1,684 pounds, depending on the variant, compared to the Frontier’s maximum payload capacity of 1,610 pounds in specific configurations. This means the Colorado can handle heavier loads, making it a more practical choice for those who plan to use their truck for hauling and towing.

Diverse Off-Road Packages

When it comes to off-road capabilities, both trucks offer impressive features. However, the Colorado seems to have an edge with the introduction of three off-road-focused trim levels: the Z71, Trail Boss, and ZR2.

The Colorado ZR2, the top-tier off-road model, brings a unique package to the table. It features Multimatic DSSV frequency selective dampers, a 2.0-inch suspension lift, skidplates, and an even more aggressive Desert Boss package, enhancing its off-road prowess. This variety of off-road packages allows buyers to choose a model that suits their off-road needs and preferences more closely.

While both the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado and Nissan Frontier offer compelling features, the Colorado’s advanced powertrain, increased towing and payload capacities, and diverse off-road packages make it a formidable contender in the midsize pickup segment. For those looking for a truck that combines power, practicality, and off-road capabilities, the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado could be the perfect fit.

Although the 2023 GMC Canyon boasts a more powerful base engine, the standard 2.7-litre turbocharged engine in the Colorado still delivers a respectable 237 hp. For many drivers, this level of power may be more than sufficient for everyday tasks and light towing duties. If you don’t require the additional horsepower and torque, the Colorado’s base engine could be an ideal choice, especially since the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado has a lower starting price compared to the 2023 GMC Canyon. This could be an essential factor for budget-conscious buyers who may not need all the additional features and capabilities that the Canyon offers. The Colorado still provides a reliable and durable midsize pickup experience while potentially saving you money upfront.

And, of course if you want the more powerful engine option in the Colorado, you can get it and still pay less than in the Canyon.

Standard Features

The base 2023 GMC Canyon comes with a variety of desirable features, such as an 11.3-inch centre display with Google built-in infotainment, advanced driver assistance features, a remote locking tailgate, and a host of safety features. Additionally, the Canyon offers a standard 9.6-inch ground clearance, making it more off-road-ready compared to the Colorado, which has a ground clearance of only 7.9 inches.

In other words, the GMC Canyon justifies its higher starting price with the features it offers, the more powerful engine, and the standard 4WD system. It also offers a higher ground clearance out of the gate. Again, you may or may not want these features. And if you do want them, the Colorado gives them to you in other versions which will be slightly more affordable than what you pay for the Canyon.

Luxury Offerings

The 2023 GMC Canyon outshines the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado when it comes to luxury options. The Canyon Denali, for example, boasts a luxurious interior complete with real wood trim, an electronically adjustable eight-way power seat with lumbar support, 20-inch wheels, and a distinctive chrome grille. The Denali also offers a ground clearance of 10.5 inches, nearly identical to the top-of-the-line Colorado ZR2, but without compromising on its luxurious features.

For those seeking peak off-road performance, the 2023 GMC Canyon AT4X features 10.7 inches of ground clearance and an array of advanced capabilities, including MultiMatic DSSV dampers, electronic front and rear locking differentials, transfer case and underbody protection plates, and an exclusive Baja driving mode for optimal performance on sand at high speeds.

The top-of-the-line Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 offers impressive off-road capabilities as well, with many of the same features as the Canyon AT4 including Multimatic DSSV dampers, front and rear electronic locking differentials, and increased ground clearance to 10.7 inches. These features enable the Colorado ZR2 to tackle various off-road challenges without compromising on its core functionality as a midsize pickup. When it comes to choosing between the Colorado ZR2 and Canyon AT4, it really comes down to which design and brand you prefer. However, if you want the most luxurious midsize truck you can find, the Canyon Denali is hard to beat.

On the other hand, if you want a base truck to use for work, the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado WT trim is affordable, powerful, and very capable.

While both the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado and 2023 GMC Canyon share many qualities and cater to the midsize pickup truck market, the GMC Canyon offers more in terms of standard power, capability, luxury, and off-road prowess. On the other hand, the Colorado is more affordable and offers options for buyers who just want a truck for work. Moreover, when comparing similar equipment, the Colorado is usually more affordable.

If you’re looking for a well-rounded midsize pickup truck with superior features and performance, both the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado and 2023 GMC Canyon deliver. Choosing the model for you depends on your needs and your preferences, but both will exceed your expectations.

Should you buy a 2023 Chevrolet Equinox or a 2023 Honda CR-V?

With the compact SUV market becoming increasingly competitive, the 2023 Chevrolet Equinox and the 2023 Honda CR-V continue to be recognized as leaders in terms of practicality, comfort, and reliability. These two remarkable SUVs have long been popular models with their incredible features and performance, making them highly desirable options for a variety of drivers. However, there are several areas where the 2023 Chevy Equinox outshines the 2023 Honda CR-V.

If you want performance, go with with the 2023 Chevrolet Equinox

One of the main reasons why the Chevrolet Equinox stands out is due to its impressive performance. This SUV comes with a standard 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 175 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque. On the other hand, the Honda CR-V has a smaller 1.5-litre turbo engine, with a maximum output of just 179 lb-ft of torque.

This may not seem like a huge difference, but on the road you will notice it immediately. The 2023 Chevrolet Equinox uses its 24 extra pound-feet of torque to deliver better accelerations and much quicker passing, offering a significantly more enjoyable experience behind the wheel.

Get more for less with the 2023 Chevrolet Equinox

Aside from its impressive capabilities, the 2023 Chevrolet Equinox also excels in terms of affordability compared to the 2023 Honda CR-V. At a starting price of $30,347, the base Equinox is significantly cheaper than the base model of the CR-V, which starts at $36,374. Moreover, you can get AWD in the 2023 Equinox for just $32,747, roughly $8,000 less than what you have to pay to get all-wheel drive in the 2023 Honda CR-V.

Not only does the Equinox cost less without sacrificing features, but you also get a range of technologies that you won’t find in the 2023 Honda CR-V. Examples include OnStar connected services or the Teen Driver feature which is not found in the CR-V. The first is great to get directions if you are lost, but it can also send help if you are in an accident automatically and it can even detect if your vehicle was stolen. As for Teen Driver, it allows you to monitor how your Equinox is being driven by your teenager, and you can set speed limits and prevent the vehicle from starting when the seatbelts aren’t fastened.

Give us a call today and see for yourself why the 2023 Chevrolet Equinox is so popular.

How to Prep Your Chevrolet For Spring

As is the norm at this time of year as the gloomy skies and wet, slushy roads of winter give way to the sunnier skies and greener pastures of spring, we’re anxious to get outside. After all; we’ve been cooped up for months and as much as we love cozying up with our family around the fire, we need a breath of fresh air, right? Well, of course – but so could your Chevrolet. Like you, it has been through the ringer this winter so it’s time to help inject it with some new life.

Where the Rubber Meets the Road

While anyone who equips their Chevrolet car, truck or SUV with winter tires should be lauded as this is key to safe driving in winter, they can be detrimental on drier roads. Their tread patterns aren’t always ideally suited for driving on bare tarmac, and they can cause undue fuel consumption as well. Add the fact that various debris picked up from its snowy hiding spot could still be lodged in there, and you can see how it’s time to switch for some three-season or summer rubber. You won’t regret it.

Bring in the Reserves

While your tires are obviously key to safe winter driving, there are other aspects of your Chevrolet that have been working overtime for months as well. Your windshield wipers – which have been scraping over grimy, potentially icy windows – could have become damaged or warped over time and could need replacing. Perhaps you can even up the ante in the glass-clearing department by applying a layer of water repellant.

Speaking of windshield wipers: in the winter, they often go hand-in-hand with windshield washer fluid so you’ll want to ensure that’s been topped as well. The same goes for your anti-freeze as you begin to use your air conditioning system more regularly.

Maintaining a Charge

All those things we just talked about? Your wipers, HVAC system and so on – those all need a battery to power them which means it’s working hard through the winter months as well. You’ll want to make sure you aren’t left stranded with a dead battery so visit your local Chevrolet dealer to ensure that your battery’s life is up to the task of getting you to your spring break spot, and then back home after.

Spruce it Up

Of course we want our Chevrolet shining in the spring sunlight after months of accumulated grime coats its body and undercarriage, but more than looking the part, cleaning your vehicle could reveal some things that may need attention. Perhaps there are some blemishes that you haven’t seen that need attending to, or maybe you just want to make sure all that accumulated grime – from road salt and spray and so on – hasn’t started to cause corrosion. A thorough cleaning will see to all of that.

A look at the 2023 GMC SUV lineup

The GMC SUV and crossover line-up returns for 2023 offering a line of compact, mid-size and full-size trucks and crossovers that cover a large swathe of the utility world, from ground-stomping off-road specialists to luxurious, smooth-riding boulevard cruisers and road-trip specialists.

Here’s a look at what the line-up of GMC SUVs looks like for 2023.

2023 GMC Terrain

While the changes from 2023 to GMC’s smallest crossover aren’t astronomical, the standard 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine has seen its horsepower output increase from 170 hp to 175 hp. The four trims available last year remain – SLE, SLT, the off-road tuned AT4 (which was a new trim for ’22) and luxurious Denali. Power is sent to either the front wheels or to all four wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Standard features include a 7-inch infotainment display, six-speaker audio, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with eight-inch touchscreen display and heated driver and front passenger seats. The AT4 off-road trim adds Goodyear Sports Terrain off-road tires, unique grille and front steel skidplate, while the top-spec Denali trim provides Bose 7-speaker audio, heads-up display an perforated leather seating.

2023 GMC Acadia

From the compact Terrain we jump to the mid-size Acadia which adds and optional third row of seating and space for up to seven passengers. Like the Terrain, it comes in SLE, SLT, AT4 and Denali trims with power from either a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo engine (230 hp, 258 lb-ft) or a 3.6L V6 (310 hp and 271 lb-ft.). Power is sent to all four wheels only – the FWD option has been dropped for ’23 – via a nine-speed automatic transmission. In AT4 spec, watch for the addition of hill-descent control, hill start assist, active torque control AWD system and 17” gloss black wheels shod with all-terrain tires.

Upgrading to the luxurious Denali package provides  heads-up display, 8” driver information centre within the gauge cluster, 20” wheels and wireless charging.

2023 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL

Luxury is the name of the game for GMC’s biggest SUV with the addition of the Denali Ultimate trim for 2023. It adds full-grain leather upholstery, special 22” wheels, open-pore wood inserts, 18-speaker Bose audio and even massaging front seats.

The Denali Ultimate trim joins the SLE, SLT, AT4 and Denali trims in both the standard and longer XL models. Yukon models come powered by a choice of three engines, depending on trim: a 5.3-litre V8 (355 hp and 383 lb-ft), a 6.2L V8 (420 hp and 460 lb-ft) and an ultra capable diesel 3.0 six cylinder that makes 277 hp and 460 lb-ft. No matter which engine you choose, they all come mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. You can, however, choose from 4×2 (SLE and SLT) and 4×4 (AT4, Denali, Denali Ultimate) powertrains.

In both the Yukon and Yukon XL, the AT4 trim adds 20” all-terrain tires, magnetic ride control, heated steering wheel and second row outboard seats and specially designed front end for a better approach angle. Thanks to its extra length, the XL model can stow more gear either with all seats down, or all seats in place. The XL models are also the only models that can fit up to nine passengers, with standard Yukon models capable of seating seven or eight.

A look at the impressive 2.7-litre turbocharged engine available in the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra

Both the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado and the 2023 GMC Sierra have a lot to offer. Both models have been significantly redesigned in recent years to provide the latest in connectivity and safety technology, and both offer a brand-new interior packed with large screens and a digital instrument cluster offering the latest multimedia technology. No doubt about it, the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado and 2023 GMC Sierra are more luxurious than ever.

That said, we buy a truck because we need the capability and the towing capacity most often. In that regard, both the Silverado and Sierra continue to stand out with their impressive powertrain lineup with one engine in particular offering impressive an blend of performance and efficiency. You can’t go wrong with either V-8 engine or the Duramax diesel powertrain offered in both GM pickups. But, if you are looking for a truck that is surprisingly fuel-efficient while also delivering exceptional performance and towing capability, you might want to check out the 2.7-litre turbocharged High Output engine that comes standard on most models in the 2023 Silverado and 2023 Sierra lineups.

Here are a few things to know about this impressive engine and how it stands out.

Exceptional performance right from the start

Perhaps the most impressive feature of the GM 2.7-litre High Output engine is that it is offered as standard in most Silverado models and most Sierra trims. It is the base engine in the GM truck lineup and yet when you look at the specs, you realize there is nothing entry-level about it.

The 2.7-litre turbocharged engine delivers 310 hp and 430 pound-feet of maximum torque, giving you significantly better performance than the base engine found in other pickup trucks. This engine features a unique dual volute turbocharger with advanced oiling and cooling technology to provide the highest level of efficiency and performance regardless of how you are using it.

Remarkable towing capability

The 2.7-litre turbocharged High Output engine offered in the Silverado and Sierra deliver exceptional towing capability. You can tow up to 9,500 pounds in the 2023 GMC Sierra or up to 9,200 pounds in the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado. Most models will give you over 9,000 pounds of towing capability with this engine, more than enough for the needs of most buyers and again, we reiterate that this is the standard engine. It also offers over 2,100 pounds of total payload in most versions.

Exceptional efficiency

You will average less than 12 L per 100 km with the 2.7-litre turbo engine which is exceptional considering the fact that you have over 300 hp and 430 pound-feet of torque.

Introduced in 2019, the 2.7-litre turbocharged High Output engine from General Motors sets a new standard when it comes to base performance in a pickup truck. Give us a call today to learn more.

What is GMC Denali?

While most will likely know “Denali” to be referring to the National Park and reserve that just happens to contain one Mount McKinley, truck and SUV fans will know Denali represents the very best of luxury and refinement at General Motors, and specifically within the GMC brand.

More than that, however, you could say that it serves almost as a brand unto itself at GMC. When it first got its start in 2000, everything was a cut above what we’re used to seeing from a GMC truck. From the materials used, to the fact the truck which first bore the name – the 2000 Yukon – came with a locking centre differential and limited slip rear axle when other models only had a part-time 4WD system, you knew that Denali was being positioned as more than simply a trim package.

The next year, the hits just kept on coming when the Denali nameplate was attached to the Sierra pickup for the first time and with the nomenclature came the standard fitment of Quadrasteer four-wheel steering technology for better stability on the hghway and a tighter turning radius at slower speeds. The tech, which is more popular today than ever, owes much of its blueprint to those Denali trucks of the early ‘00s.

Today, you’ll know it as soon as you approach any given model in Denali spec (every model except the Savana passenger and cargo vans get the option); exterior styling signatures include LED c-clamp daytime running lights, aluminium wheels in a variety of styles and sizes and specialized chrome accents, all on-hand to separate Denali vehicles from their brethren.

Inside, however, is where the premium feel of the Denali trucks shines through. Watch for top-grade leather appointments, real aluminum trim and specialized French and Fractal stitching to see how far the Denali brand has come. Add the latest in GMC infotainment including Amazon Alexa compatibility and the ability to connect up to 7 devices to a WiFi hotspot – essential for bigger family haulers like the Yukon XL – and you have a masterclass in luxury trucking.

This year, GMC launched two new versions of the Denali lineup, the 2023 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate and 2023 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate. Not only do these models feature every single comfort and connectivity technology you could ever want in a truck or SUV, but they also have a distinct design and their own visual signature. They also get an exclusive interior finish that really stands out.

Discover new 2023 GMC Denali models today and see how they stand out in the industry.

Here we take a look at what sets the 2023 Equinox and 2023 Terrain apart from their main rivals.

A powerful base engine with surprising fuel economy

All 2023 Chevrolet Equinox and 2023 GMC Terrain come standard with a powerful 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces an impressive 175 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque. Plenty of interior space

The 2023 Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain offer plenty of cargo space for those who plan to pack a lot of gear for their next adventure. The Equinox offers 847 liters of cargo space behind the second row, and a generous 1,809 liters behind the front row. The GMC Terrain, meanwhile, offers almost as much cargo space with 838 liters behind the second row and 1,792 liters behind the first row. With all that space available, you can fit a lot of stuff in both vehicles and still have room to spare.

Both GM SUVs offer a lot of interior space, and for the most part, they’re almost identical. There are a few exceptions, though, like the 2023 Equinox, which offers about an inch more legroom in the back. Nevertheless, both models will meet the needs of consumers looking for a spacious family SUV.

Advanced technology

The 2023 Chevrolet Equinox is packed with safety technologies to ensure the safety of you and your passengers. It comes equipped with a Teen Driver feature that allows parents to keep an eye on their teen’s driving habits, ensuring peace of mind for years to come. In addition, it is equipped with INTELLIBEAM AUTO HIGH BEAM ASSIST, which detects whether traffic conditions require the vehicle’s high beams to be turned on or off automatically. In addition, the standard Chevrolet infotainment system gives you access to numerous connectivity options, including Apple CarPlay wireless and Android Auto wireless compatibility, as well as Alexa Built-In so you can control music, and more, hands-free, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

The 2023 GMC Terrain also shines with advanced features. It includes many of the above features as well as optional Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, which provides visual alerts in the side mirrors to help you avoid collisions during a lane change. Other features include Rear Park Assist, which provides distance alerts to objects detected nearby behind the vehicle when in low-speed reverse.

The 2023 Chevrolet Equinox starts at $30,347 while the 2023 Terrain starts at under $35,000. Call us today to learn more!
